CO-OWNER: BONNIE RAMONE

Co-owner and award-winning artist Bonnie Ramone is professional touring musician with her band Bonnie & the Mere Mortals and has been tattooing professionally since 2010. She began her apprenticeship before even finishing high school and has worked in nearly every type of shop and environment. She frequently travels to Nashville to work at The Monolith Tattoo Company and the Quill, and also to Asheville to work at Divination Tattoo. At the heart of her artistry is a spooky sensibility, but she loves working on large-scale illustrative work and has developed an incredibly distinctive style. From stipple work, to color, to realistic portraits, you can always tell a piece from Bonnie. You can book with her directly through her website here.

CO-OWNER: KRISTIN HAWK-SNYDER

Co-Owner Kristin Hawk-Snyder has been professionally tattooing since 2016. She spent her first years cutting her teeth in the fast-paced street shop environment of the heart of Pittsburgh’s South Side. Kristin is known for her large- and small-scale florals as well as cute and pop culture pieces with nouveau traditional influences.
She welcomes fun clientele looking for everything from large traditional pieces and fun neotraditional florals, to horror-influenced pin-ups and tattoos based off internet memes.

JUNIOR ARTIST: Worms Stephenson

Worms is our Junior artist Manager and has been apprenticing under Bonnie Ramone since 2019. She graduated from the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School for visual art that same year and began her tattooing education before her diploma was in hand. Despite being mentored through the COVID pandemic, Worms has steady grown and worked tirelessly on her artistry and technique. She is now a tattooer in her own right, producing clean, creative pieces, and building a steady clientele. Worms is open to any and all pieces, but particularly loves doing both girly and gory work—especially when she can put the two together.

JUNIOR ARTIST: MIK BOWMAN

Mik began her work as an apprentice early in 2022 at a fast-paced shop in Dormont, where she quickly honed her technical skills and became a full time tattoo artist. After working in such a fast-paced environment, she decided to slow down and focus on finding her voice as an artist. Before tattooing, Mik graduated from MU with a degree in 3-dimensional art, where she learned woodworking and welding. Mik is passionate about what she does, and loves working with her clients to make their ideas come to life. While she accepts all types of work, Mik particularly enjoys doing anime pieces, horror themed work, mythical, whimsical, and witchy designs.

JUNIOR ARTIST: TARA WOODS

Tara began her work as an apprentice in 2021 at our sister shop in Mount Oliver, Two Coffins Tattoo. During her time there she developed her technical skills and became a full time tattooer. Tara decided to make the transition and become and Kindred Spirit to develop her voice as an artist and continue honing her technique. Before tattooing, Tara graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Social Media and Digital Strategies. Tara is deeply passionate about what she does and loves getting to work with her clients to make their ideas a reality. Tara loves a challenge and will accept all types of work, but she particularly likes doing floral pieces, pop culture references, and anything feminine.
